How to Install the French Today App on Windows 8
Note that Windows 8.1 support by Microsoft ended in January 2023 (see official announcement).
The French Today app you can download from our website is an older version that used to work on Windows 8. It might still work for you, but we make no guarantee. In any case, the French Today app will not be updated nor maintained for this OS version.
To install the French Today app for Windows 8/8.1 please follow these steps:
2. When prompted, select the RUN option at the bottom of your browser window
3. The installer will start downloading to your computer
4. Once it has completely downloaded, you will be prompted to authorize the install, press YES.
5. The French Today app will automatically launch and there will be an app shortcut placed on your desktop.
You are now able to either download our free audiobook or log into your French Today account by clicking on the 'sign in' link
